Weather Policy
Safe Operation Guidelines
The safety of your guests is our top priority. Inflatables and outdoor rental equipment are subject to weather conditions. The following guidelines apply to all rentals:
Wind
Inflatable units must be taken down if sustained wind speeds reach or exceed 25 mph. Our team monitors weather forecasts leading up to your event and will communicate any concerns. If wind conditions become unsafe during your rental, we reserve the right to deflate the unit for safety.
Rain
Light rain is generally acceptable for most inflatables. However, moderate to heavy rain may create unsafe conditions (slipping hazards). Standard inflatables should not be used in heavy rain. Water inflatables (such as the Pirate’s Plunge) are designed for wet use and may continue operating in light rain.
Lightning & Severe Weather
All inflatable and outdoor rentals must be immediately evacuated and taken down at the first sign of lightning or thunder, regardless of the distance. There are no exceptions to this rule. Do not re-enter the inflatable until at least 30 minutes have passed after the last lightning or thunder observed.
Weather-Related Cancellations by G’s Inflatables
If G’s Inflatables determines that weather conditions make delivery or operation unsafe, we will notify you as early as possible (typically the day before). In this case, you will receive:
-
A full credit toward a future booking, valid for 12 months, OR
-
A full refund of all payments made
Customer-Initiated Weather Cancellations
If you choose to cancel due to weather concerns before our team departs for delivery, the following applies:
-
Cancellations due to weather with more than 4 hours’ notice: full credit toward a future date
-
Cancellations due to weather with less than 4 hours’ notice or after delivery: no refund; credit may be offered at G’s Inflatables’ discretion
-
We always prioritize safety over a sale. When in doubt, contact us and we’ll make the right call together.
